This is how it all began:

In the 1980’s, the physician Dr. Ernst Walter Henrich specialized in the context of cooperation with cosmetic institutes and amongst other things, the treatment and injections of wrinkles. An effective and healthy skin care for the long-term health, maintenance and beauty of the skin is much more important, Dr. Henrich was also interested in the toiletries that were offered in beauty salons and the total cosmetics market. He found that neither in beauty salons or in pharmacies, perfumeries, health food stores or other distribution channels, the criteria were met, he asked a dermatologically and naturopathic orientated doctor to assist him with healthy effective skin care. That's why he needed to enforce its dermatological quality criteria.
